Hello everyone!

I have really loved receiving so many e-mails over the last few days - full of updates about what you have been learning at home and even some pictures of some of the things you've been up to. I love hearing how you're extending your learning out of the classroom- someone I spoke to on Monday had picked wild garlic and made their own garlic butter! Please keep sharing and e-mailing everything you have been up to.

I'm sure you know that it's the V.E Day Bank Holiday on Friday. Think back to all of our learning about WWII before Christmas (it seems so long ago now, doesn't it!) Can you remember why people celebrated V.E Day and what V.E stands for? I wonder if you can remind yourselves or a grown up about some of our WWII facts. Do you remember the Prime Ministers during WWII? What about the dates?

I've been seeing lots of windows in my village decorated for V.E Day on Friday with Union flags and other celebratory decorations. I wonder if you could have a go at making some to decorate your windows at home?

Please keep having a go at the Oak National Academy lessons for English and Maths if you can - they really do make a lot of difference!

I will be contactable between 10.00-11.00am on palmclass@kirkbymalzeard.n-yorks.sch.uk if anyone would like to share their learning or say 'hello'
