Daily Update

Mrs Wolfe - 22 May 2020

Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you all had a great day of home learning yesterday.  Thank you to all of you who have kept me updated with your home learning this week; I have really enjoyed hearing how Palm pupils are getting on.  Well done for such perseverance and determination to get the very best out of your home learning - it just shows how grown up and mature you are all becoming.

Thank you to those of you who have shared their acts of kindness with me for mental health awareness week; it has been really special to hear about the lengths you have gone to think about and care for others.  I hope that you have received lots of acts of kindness too.  Please drop me a line, if you haven't already, to let me know how people have been kind to you too.

Did any of you join Rob Biddulph yesterday for his world record breaking art lesson?  If you did, please send a copy of your art work in for me to look at.

Dottie very kindly shared some of her reads with me this week - The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy (one of my favourites), The Highland Falcon Thief by M.G. Leonard (I think I recommended this the last time I did your updates) and Madame Badobedah by Sophie Dahl (Roald Dahl's daughter).  I'm sure Dottie will be back in touch with Mr Donaldson to let you know how good they are once she has finished reading them.

Remember, keep reading every day - it really is so important.

Next week is half term; Mrs Taylor sent an important letter out yesterday to your parents about arrangements for learning after the holiday.  Mr Donaldson will be back with your daily updates, home learning and email contact on 1st June.  In the meantime, have a wonderful break and stay safe.

I will be available on the class email 9-10am today.

Sending you all my very best wishes,
Mrs Wolfe smiley
