School Transport
Kirkby Malzeard is the local school for Dallowgill and Laverton, along with outlying farms and houses. There is a school bus to transport pupils to and from school. Further details are available from:

Once you have registered for school transport, you will receive a link each week to complete indicating which days you are using school transport.
All school bus journeys must be booked in advance on a weekly basis through a link to the school’s booking system.
The link will be sent to parents on the Friday of the week prior to travel and must be completed no later than 9am on the Monday of the week of travel.
Students will only be permitted to travel on buses if they have a confirmed booking via this system for that journey.
We will no longer be accepting any changes to the bookings via phone or email or after the Monday cut off at 9am unless in an emergency.
If parents need to change arrangements regarding the bus after this point they must do so independently of school i.e., arrive early to collect before the bus leaves or arrange for other parents to meet their children off the bus if they cannot.
These changes are being introduced to improve our ability to ensure students are travelling safely, and support our safeguarding responsibilities.

Contracts
The agreement for school transport is an agreement between North Yorkshire Council and parents, which school is happy to facilitate to support our families. Any issues which arise on the bus journey or any complaints about the service provided should be reported to:
