VE Day

30 Nov 2017

Palm and Cedar Classes were joined by friends from West Tanfield School this morning for a VE Day and World War experience. They did a brilliant assembly, teaching West Tanfield about the First and Second World Wars, reenacting events of the wars and singing wartime songs.

In the afternoon, Palm and Cedar had a great VE Day celebration, before doing their assembly again for parents and friends to watch - thank you to all who came!

Thank you to everyone who provided food for the party, museum artifacts, and for the children's costumes - everybody looked fantastic!
