Parent Pay
As we move towards the end of term we would like to gently remind parents to settle their Parent Pay accounts where required, it is particularly important for parents of Year 6 children who will be leaving at the end of term.
If you have any queries regarding arrears please do not hesitate to contact the admin to discuss this further.

Clubs Reminder
The last sessions of Football club for both KS1 and KS2 are on next week. Gardening club is now finished.
Year 6 Leavers Day in York
Please see additional emails for information about this if your child is in Year 6.
Year 6 Leavers Assembly
Our Leavers service will take place on Wednesday 16th July. All families and friends of the school are welcome to join us in the hall at 2pm.
School closes on Friday 18th July
School closes for the summer holidays at 2pm on Friday 18th July, there will be no clubs or Whizz Kids after school on this day. If your child travels on the bus, please can we have up-to-date information.
North Yorkshire Libraries
We welcomed Harriet from North Yorkshire Libraries to school yesterday she enjoyed sharing books with children and has signed some children up to the library service. Please see below information on this year's reading challenge:
Get close to nature with the Summer Reading Challenge 2025!
Children can once again sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge at their local library during the holidays. This year the theme is Story Garden and is all about. firing up imagination through the power of reading and creative expression.
The challenge for children is to read 6 library books of their choice and collect special stickers along the way – everyone who finishes will receive a limited-edition Story Garden medal and a certificate. Any child aged 4 to 11 can join in and the challenge runs from Sat 12 July until Sat 6 Sept. Find out more about the challenge here:
There will also be a fantastic programme of activities in libraries all summer, many of them free, to go with the challenge – families can find out what’s happening locally by contacting their library, on local library Facebook pages and on our webpages: Summer Reading Challenge | North Yorkshire Council
Class Collective Worship
Each week one of our Collective Worship sessions takes place in class with a focus on something in the news. Attached is a take home that you might like to think about and share with your child at home, there is no need to return this to school. There is a new sheet each week.
