Sports Afternoon

Dear Parents,
We are busy preparing for our ‘Sports Afternoon’ on Thursday 20th June. The afternoon will be a combination of traditional races and a carousel of activities where children can earn points for their ‘dale team’. You are very welcome to come and watch the children – the afternoon will begin at 1.00pm. Please note, there will be no ‘Sports Day Picnic’ this year, however, as you will be aware, we are holding a ‘Celebration Picnic’ on a separate date. The Friends of Kirkby Malzeard School will be selling hot-dogs at the end of the school day.
Please note, that there will be a spectator’s area for the race events from which parents can watch- we would be very grateful if you could remain in this area at this point of health and safety reasons. For the carousel activities, feel free to travel around the carousel with your child/children and support their team!
Children may come to school in their P.E kit on this day, if they wish to wear a t-shirt in their ‘Dale’ colour they may. They will also require a bottle of water which they can carry with them during the afternoon.
