World Book Day

Mrs Wolfe - 18 Feb 2022

This year we are celebrating World Book Day on Friday 4th March.  It looks set to be a wonderful day full of all things books!

Our amazing library team have been busy this week organising the day, which will include pupils coming to school dressed up in their favourite book-themed costume!  Parents are invited to attend this fun-packed red carpet event (more details regarding times to follow after half term).

Following this, pupils will return to their classrooms for some book-themed activities, and then enjoy a year group activity session in the library with our reading ambassadors and librarians.

Throughout the week, classes will be participating in lots of other exciting reading activities, including live online sessions with famous authors.

Today your child will have received their £1 book voucher, which can be exchanged for a free WBD book in most book shops.  Alternatively, it can be used towards the purchase of another book of their choice.

A huge thank you to our wonderful reading ambassadors and librarians - it is going to be a really fantastic day!
